How are lap times calculated?
Each lap records the total elapsed time and the interval since the previous lap. Paused time is excluded. Up to 200 laps can be retained per session.
Does it continue in another tab?
Yes. Elapsed time is calculated from timestamps rather than counting screen updates. Background tabs update less often but catch up when you return.
Where are stopwatch results stored?
The current session and laps are saved in localStorage on this device when available, without cookies. Reset clears the session. Hundredths are displayed for convenience and are not a certified measurement.
