Frequently asked questions

Which time zone does the countdown use?

The target uses UTC. A date-only event starts at midnight there; solstices use the listed astronomical instant. Shared ISO timestamps include their offset.

Are all event dates final?

Dates marked estimated may change. Ramadan and Eid depend on local moon sightings, and some festivals have regional differences. Check local announcements before making plans.

Can I save and share my countdown?

A custom countdown is saved in localStorage when available, without cookies. The share link includes the target and title. After reaching the target, the counter stays at zero.
